Founder/CEO


From politics to business to tech, Sarah Judd Welch built her career on bringing people together and improving lives. Prior to Loyal, Sarah worked on community with startups such as Quarterly Co., Kik, Contently, Consmr and iDoneThis. She also led business development and marketing for TaskRabbit in NYC and co-headed sales development at Catchafire. In former lives, she worked for Goldman Sachs and Hillary Clinton. NYU Gallatin alum, StartingBloc Fellow/Speaker, tea drinker, yogi, storyteller, LES dweller.

Community Apprentice


Virginia Laird is a people-centric introvert, with a love for understanding individuals and communities. Kicking off her career at Ogilvy & Mather, Virginia worked in account management and marketing strategy, and has spent time in business development and market research for agencies and brands. She attributes much of her learnings to the countless weekends and summers spent working in customer service for her family’s business in Miami, Florida. She loves warm weather, biking through Brooklyn, and watching entire TV series from start to finish.
